so we're walkin thru el parque central downtown and there are a bunch of entertainers. this little gold miner scared the shit out of me. right as we walked by charles noticed he wasnt a statue and before chuck could say anything he jumped at me. i have never been so surprised in my life. He felt so bad that he called me over, spoke to me in english, apologized and gave me a rock. i donno what kind of rock. just a rock. thanks guy. he welcomed me to chile. he must've known i was a gringo, because "no chileno would have ever been so scared" haha. i took this picture from as far away as possible so he couldnt get me again....

these are all of U de Catolica, which we've decided is the coolest campus of the two. the tower is the chapel. its a pretty gnar place, yo. the doors were locked but using ninja camera techniques, i took a picture thru the crack in the door. you can see la virgin.
